Cocktail inspired nails!

For this manicure I used Ciaté Loop the Loop (crème sunshine yellow), Orly Cotton Candy (crème pastel bubblegum pink) and Wet n Wild FERGIE Collection Tonight’s Gonna Be a Good Night (small bits of black glitter, mixed with some gold hex glitter, suspended in a clear base).

I’ve discussed the formula for Loop the Loop in a previous post (Mellow Yellow), as well as Cotton Candy (Glitter Gradient) – but Tonight’s Gonna Be a Good Night is a new addition to my collection. The formula was pretty great and I only used one coat for the photos that you see in this post. You can definitely build this up a little more, depending on how you like your glitter. I thought the brush was really quite wide, which is the only complaint I have for this polish.

This manicure reminds me of cocktails on the beach for some reason, and is something that really suits short nails.

What do you think? What are your favorite color combinations for gradient nails? What would be your favorite cocktail inspiration?
